Emily graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree with honours. After her undergraduate studies, she went on to pursue a career in Chiropody at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences. The experience she has acquired through years of practice has provided Emily with a solid foundation in treating different foot ailments.
Emily is passionate about treating patients in an individualized and holistic manner based on what he or she needs to get back on their feet. She believes that good patient and practitioner interactions are important in fostering a healthy environment for recovery and maintaining wellness. Emily is a very dedicated individual and passionate about her job as a chiropodist. As such, she will strive to do her best to help each patient put their best foot forward.
Karen Chan, B.Sc (Hon), D.Ch

Karen received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. She then went on to attend the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences and became a registered chiropodist. Karen has gained experience working with various foot conditions over the years at St. John’s Rehab Hospital, Providence Healthcare, and several private clinics.
She has a passion for learning, and travelled to Australia to learn foot mobilisation therapy. She also has a special interest in the Diabetic foot and soft tissue injuries. Karen takes pride in her meticulous foot care, and is often described as being friendly and gentle. She believes that a warm and friendly environment is just as important as effective treatments in maintaining the health and wellness of an individual.
